New Species in the Greater Mekong

The Greater Mekong is a national development project in the asian bank around Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, and the Yunnan province of China. What makes this spot so interesting is that this area has sprout about over 1000 new species and plenty more species thought to have been EXTINCT!

One of my favorites is the Pink Millipede that spits Cyanide as a defense mechanism.

They have also discovered a frog that turns completely brown at night and totally green during the day.
